Week 2

Welcome back after your Christmas holidays. Hope that you all have had a great time. For all my classes, English as well Music we will focus on using our voices more than previously. More on that later.

English, grade 7

Homework - Not in my house - you'll find the audio file and the text for reading on Porten. During class I'll explain how I want you to work with this.
Thursday we watch this video to help your pronunciation and then continue working on your presentations of the most frightening thing you've experienced.
Friday - homework check!


Music, grade 8

We form groups and use our chord and drum skills to play a song. Here's the link.


Music, grade 9

We rounded off last term with "Eget val" - this week I'd like you to finish that  and next week we'll start this project. So, practise hard and let me know if you need any help.

English, grade 9

Download your new homework - the three little goats and vocabulary ( found on Porten) or - Not in my house. Practise your reading.
Make a list of how the two versions of the fairy tale differ. Record it on vocaroo and and send it to me carl.holmqvist@varberg.se
If you choose Not in my house I want you to record the scariset thing that you've ever experienced and send it to me.


English, grade 8

Pronunciation! We go here first - we listen, pause and imitate. The sound quality is lacking a bit but hopefully you'll get the idea. After listening you pick a text from an old homework, record it on Garageband and have a friend listen to it and give some feedback. When you have made necessary corrections/alterations to it record a new version on vocaroo and send that to me!
