Week 51

Perhaps my Christmas will be like this

English, grades 8 and 9

First of all - finish all your assignments started previous weeks if you haven't already! Check back on previous weeks for instructions if you are uncertain of what to do. After that - read below.

Do you celebrate Christmas? If so, how do you go about? Tell me and present your contribution in form of a podcast, a movie or a written document. You could work together with a friend, or perhaps two friends where you discuss your Christmas traditions in a talk show, or an interview where one person acts as a reporter - well, you get the picture……………
Useful English words for Christmas are found here.
Don't want to do that? Well, do this instead - choose a minimum of 30 Christmas words, your own words/phrases or words from the Google search above. Explain your words using other English words, like this;

1. Christmas tree = a tree put indoors and very often decorated with candles, glitter etc

Don't want to write something - movies and podcasts work here,  too!

If your family don't celebrate Christmas - tell me about something else that you celebrate!

All submissions here - no e-mails, please!

Still not happy and want to do something else - download and work with these:
one
two
three
four

Show me your finished documents.

PS If you are in grade nine haven't finished your rap - work with that during the English class DS

Music, grade 9

Finish your raps or work with "Eget val". Self-evaluation for raps is found on the "Terminsplanering" on Porten.

Music, grade 8

We will continue drumming - practise the patterns with hands and feet, it helps a lot!

English, grade 7

We dig deeper into useful phrases when discussing and make at least two proper English sentences for each section we have left (6-10). You can also make a dialogue. Here's an example from section six;
-I think I learn quite a from lot writing sentences like this.
-Yes, but on the other hand one needs to be able to speak, too.
Highlight the phrase that you've chosen (like I did above). E-mail, or show me your sentences/dialogues.

Music, grade 7

Examination chords and melodies on the guitar. Fill in this before your audition
