Week 6

Friday - finish you assignment. Have you already? Well, do some lyricstraining and review a few old exercises found on my blog.

Put the final touch on your songs - these need to be recorded next week at the latest.

  1. Listening comprehension.
  2. Mark Twain quotes. E-mail me.
  3. The buttered cat paradox. What's all this about? What is a paradox? E-mail me your answers.

Homework check (9a here), finish the exercises above. After that, have a look at this. Make a short summary - submit it here.

Music, grade 8

Rehearse your chosen songs in your groups. Make sure that you have the chords down. Perhaps you could try to put in some kind of variation between verses and choruses, too.

English, grade 7

Chapter 7B - The school lunch. Work in pairs, or groups and make a Garageband recording of this text where you try to get the voices to differ a bit depending on the character chosen. Needless to say, you must know the vocabulary, too. All you need can be found on Porten.
